The Teamsters Local 170 Retirees Club will reconvene at the Hall this spring after its winter break, with a series of events schedule for April and June. The first meeting, set for April 14, 2026, will feature a Q&A session with Attorney Richard Rafferty of Eden and Rafferty Law Office, who will field members’ questions on wills and trusts.
A complimentary lunch will be provided by Attorney Rafferty.
The club’s June 9, 2026 gathering will include a pizza party and an open slot for a speaker, which members are invited to fill. Mark is full of stories for Story Time but willing to share the floor at any time. This meeting also calls for routine housekeeping: a mandatory election of officers as required by the club’s by-laws. If anyone is interested in running, please contact one of our Board members.
A reminder by Bruce, that members can sign up with their email address for meeting reminders. A sign-up sheet will be at the front-table.
A reminder by Don, that Dues Collections will begin at the April meeting.
The Thought of the Day is a quote from Nelson Mandela:
“Do not judge me by my success. Judge me by how many times I fell down and got back up again.”
The Retirees Club looks forward to seeing its members at the upcoming meetings.
Thank you,
Richard Goodell
